A MESSAGE FROM AMANDA:
AS OF JUNE 16th 2025 I WILL BE STARTING A FULL TIME POSITION
ELSEWHERE AND WILL BE DOING THE CUSTOM METAL WORK ON A CASUAL BASIS.
WITH THE CURRENT ECONOMY WE HAVE BEEN FEELING THE PINCH
LIKE SO MANY OTHER SMALL BUSINESSES AND INDIVIDUALS.
IT WAS A TOUGH DECISION, AND A LOT OF THOUGHT AND EMOTIONS WENT INTO IT.
THIS IS NOT THE END OF OUR CUSTOM METAL WORK, JUST A SHIFT.
I WILL STILL BE FITTING IN AS MANY CUSTOM ORDERS AS MY NEW SCHEDULE
ALLOWS AS IT IS SOMETHING I AM PASSIONATE ABOUT.
MOVING FORWARD, PLEASE KEEP IN MIND WITH THIS BEING ON A CASUAL BASIS
TURN AROUND TIMES WILL BE LONGER AS I NAVIGATE MY NEW SCHEDULE.

WE WILL ALSO BE TAKING A BREAK FROM TRADE SHOWS MOVING FORWARD.
IF TIME ALLOWS, WE MAY FIT IN THE ODD ONE DAY SHOW THAT ISN'T TOO FAR FROM HOME.
WE ALSO PLAN ON BOOKING CUSTOM ORDERS FOR THE CHRISTMAS SEASON AND
OFFERING A ONE DAY DELIVERY SERVICE TO A FEW OF THE LOCATIONS WE WOULD
TYPICALLY HAVE SHOWS AT IF THERE ARE ENOUGH ORDERS TO MAKE THE TRIP.

ALL CUSTOM ORDERS WILL BE SENT 2 TO 4 DESIGNS FOR APPROVAL.
A MAXIMUM OF 2 REVISIONS WILL BE SENT DURING THE EDITING PROCESS.
ANY ADDITIONAL REVISIONS WILL HAVE ADDITIONAL DESIGN TIME ADDED ONTO THE FINAL TOTAL

FORMS OF PAYMENT:
Deposits can be paid by e-transfer or online credit card invoicing.
Final payment can be made by e-transfer, or credit card invoicing.

PLACING AN ORDER:
Generic items do require full payment up front.
All custom orders require a deposit up front.
Designing is time consuming, so without a deposit we have no guarantee
that you will follow through with an order. Once we have discussed your order,
and we have received the requested deposit amount, you will be added to our order list
and designs will be emailed for editing/approval once we get to you on the list.

TURN AROUND TIME:
We try to get orders out the door as quick as we can! However sometimes life happens and
things take longer than planned. With Amanda working full time elsewhere as of June 16th 2025
orders will take longer as Amanda will only be fitting them in evenings and weekends
as her schedule and life allows.

Larger items such as benches, and farm yard signs are outsourced for powder coating and do
take longer for completion. Our powder coaters are located 2.5 hours from us, so we
only go when we have enough orders to make the trip. We will take care of getting it there and
back for you. Items requiring powder coating can take 8 to 12 weeks for completion.

CURBSIDE PICK UP:
Orders can be picked up curbside once final payment has been made.
Amanda will be working full time elsewhere, and will not be at the shop on a regular
basis so all pick ups will be curbside. Once we have received your final payment,
your order will be set outside for you to grab on the date scheduled.

SHIPPING:
For those not local to Glidden, our items can be shipped.
Shipping costs are added to your final invoice. Rates vary by item, location and
shipping method. To inquire on shipping costs please let us know the item you
are interested in and where you are located (including postal code)

We do not ship outside of Canada.
